This listing is for pre-purchasing a cabinet that will be shipped in a container to western Washington State, with logistics coordinated by a local. When you purchase, you acknowledge that you have read our sales policy and understand the purchase conditions. It will be your responsibility to arrange shipping or pick-up from our partner distributor in the US. In principle, you will have 90 days from the purchase date or date of container arrival, whichever is later, to have the machine taken from the distributor's warehouse. Cabinet Details

Control panel is a 1L6B from a Versus City with miscellaneous joystick and buttons.

Despite being an original Astro, this cabinet has an MS9-29 monitor which is bright and sharp. There is significant (level 4) burn-in. We can recap it for an additional charge.

Power supply has the internal power switch removed and bypassed, so the power is only switchable from the back.

The cabinet in the photos is the specific one for this listing.

About This Model

The Astro City, the canonical Candy Cabinet, was a major upgrade to the Aero. It featured a larger monitor with an antiglare coating instead of an external sheet of glass, and new lightweight construction from a polymer resin that allowed Sega to make the cabinet almost 20kg lighter despite the upgrade from a 26" to 29" screen.
